Day Three in Venice:
On the final full day in Venice, The group got an early start to beat the crowds into the Accademia Museum for a guided tour by a couple local, knowledgeable guides.
After the guided tour, the Group was guided over to a couple water taxis to avoid the craziness and shut down streets of the Venice Marathon (happening that very morning if you like distance events!!). We were taxied over to one of the other islands in the Lagoon (Burano Island) for a few hours of sightseeing.
It was nice to see a quieter side of some of the Venetian islands (Burano has some interesting restaurants, etc, if you are willing to walk a few blocks away from the main squares).
After the Group was taxied via boats back to Venice there was a few more hours left in the after to sight see. We wondered over to the Correr Museum (included in the tickets that we had from the Dodge's Palace, which gives you 2 days from point of purchase to get into Dodge's Palace and the Correr Museum!) and The Frari Church. The Frari church was highly recommended by the local guides since it had recently been reopened after some refurbishment work. The Church did not disappoint at all! It was fascinating to see the art works and the sculptures in the church.

Some other Suggestions for places to go in Venice:
- Climbing the Basilica San Marco Campanille (Bell Tower). It is supposed to offer an awesome view of the Venetian Lagoon and Piazza San Marco.
